It's season finale time! (Part l)

It's time to catch up and some series finales shows that i have seen lately and that i could not comment on, and i really had to do it. There are many more i want to talk about so i'll be making another post for others shows like 'Dark', 'Everything Sucks', the season finale of 'Love', 'Divorce' or the upcoming 'Grey's Anatomy', but in the meantime here are the ones that i recently watched. It has minor spoilers but you've been warned!

UnReal (Season 3) - The thing with 'UnReal' is that the first season was outstanding, it was such a guilty pleasure that it was hard to live up to that. The second season was fine and now the third one, with a suitress instead of a male suitor, was a nice change for the show's formula, and while it wasn't bad, it was not amazing either. But i adore dark and twisted characters like Quinn and i love watching this mess of a show. Now, the preview of the fourth season was something... beyond.They totally had to change their formula and they did a twist that we didn't expect at all, that was having Rachel as the suitress. And we all know she's going to be a mess, a complete and total mess. And i really can't wait to watch it but we'll have to wait until 2019.

The X Files (Season 11) It's really surprinsing but this season of 'The X Files' has been excellent. Sure it had some boring episodes like the two first eps and the Skinner one, but the rest have been absolutely fantastic. From 'Plus One' or 'Familiar' that echoed the good old seasons, to the 'Black Mirror'-esque 'Rm9sbG93ZXJz', this season made us believe that the show hasn't lost its touch. it hasn't but maybe it's about time that we say goodbye for good to the show and end it on a high note, after all, it seems that Gillian Anderson is not coming back for more seasons. But anyway, whatever happens to the show i have to admit that Mulder and Scully still make my heart skip a beat.

American Crime Story: Versace  I was really looking forward to see what Ryan Murphy had done with the murder case of one of the most important fashion designers in the world, especially when it had Penélope Cruz as Donatella Versace, but the season has been a bit of a let down. Sure the actors are all amazing on the show, from the lead Darren Criss, to Penélope, Edgar Ramirez as Gianni or personal favorites of mine like Michael Nouri or Max Greenfield, the cast is brilliant but the story... not so much. As many others, i expected to see more of the Versace family but instead we got a look at the complete life of the murderer Andrew Cunanan and hence, the disappointment. And it wasn't a bad story but i was looking forward to see a different story.

American Crime Story: The assassination of Gianni Versace

My God this looks good. This looks better than good, it looks amazing. After Ryan Murphy's first season of 'American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson', it was announced that the following season would center on Katrina, and the third one on the murder of designer Gianni Versace, but the second season didn't sound that good. But luckily, Murphy changed his mind and is giving us first the Versace story because it sounds juicy as hell.

When in 1997 Gianni Versace was murdered it shocked not only the fashion industry but also the rest of the world because it was all so shocking. I don't want to dig into the story because i remember little and i don't want to get spoiled in order to watch the series, but sure the story is going to be interesting and by looking at these new and exclusive photos of Entertainment Weekly Magazine, how could you not be excited?

Edgar Ramirez  portrays the iconic designer, while Penélope Cruz plays his sister Donatella and damn she looks great for the part. When Murphy first announced this project, everyone thought he was going to cast Lady Gaga for this role, because she looks so perfect for it, but Penélope simply nails it. Other cast includes Ricky Martin as the designer's lover and Darren Criss as Andrew Cunanan and they all look  like beyond amazing casting choices.

'The Assassination of Gianni Versace' will air in early 2018 so we'll have to wait a lot to watch it but if it looks this great the wait will be worth. In the meantime enjoy these photos and check out some stills at the source.

'Feud' Season 1: Bette & Joan

I think i talk in behalf everyone who had watched 'What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?' that when the news came out that Ryan Murphy was making a show about the filming's infamous dispute, everyone got excited. But i don't think noone expected to see such a brilliant thing. Because if anything, 'Feud' has been something huge, something so accurately well-done, and with so much love and respect for these two legends, that the result is no less than perfection.

I think everyone knew about Joan Crawford's and Bette Davis' rivalry but i didn't know it reached astronomical levels of betrayal, back-stabbing and insane jealousy. And what's most shocking to learn, or at least it was for me, is that the studios themselves were pitching them against each other to have more buzz and sell more tickets at the box office, which i think it's something atrocious. Especially because just like at the end of the famous Baby Jane movie, they could had been friends all the time.

The season of 'Feud: Bette and Joan' is truly an homage of these two screen legends, one known for her beauty and image of the perfect dame, Crawford, while Davis is remembered after her fierce attitude and powerful talent, and these features that where what made each other stand out, are precisely what they hated about each other. Because after all, both ladies secretly admired each other and while they both had tremendous talent, the special skill that made each other unique and distinctive from the rest, is what both envied from the other one. And it's like they just wanted each other's approval but their egos were so big that they just couldn't admit it. But they really did some bitching stuff to each other, but the biggest one for me, was the Oscar night when Crawford covinced every other nominee to let her accept the award in their behalf so she could rub it off Davis' face in case she lost. That sequence shot really breaks your heart for Bette and really makes you see Crawford's true evil self. Because in the whole show, i was on team Bette all the way, because i don't think she was as mean towards Joan as she was to her.

The scene that also breaks your heart happens on the last episode when you feel sympathy for Joan Crawford, as she's ill and secluded in her New York appartment as her beauty has completely gone away and she doesn't want to be seen. The scene were she thinks her old freenemies Hedda and Jack Warner are having a little party in her living room and Bette joins them, the conversation they have, finally making amends, really tears you down, because they just wanted to be each other's friend. They would had been if they hadn't been pushed to compete with each other in a men's world and they could have been truly great colleagues. But it was too late now, as everything was a delirium from Joan as she starts to loose her mind. And seeing a star as huge as Crawford fade in that way is something really devastating.

The work of the whole entire cast, from Alfred Molina, to Stanley Tucci, Jackie Hoffman, Judy Davis, Catherine Zeta Jones, Alison Wright, Kathy Bates and even Kiernan Shpka in that last episode, is absolutely flawless, but the starring duo, Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon, are simply astounding. Because both, especially Sarandon, embodied their whole entire essence and in the scenes where they're filming Baby Jane you almost think it's footage from the old classic. And as skeptikal as some were about Ryan Murphy, he totally nailed it. I don't think he could have done it better. He has really made a work of art and such a quality season that it's hard to imagine anything better as the second season will presumably focus on Lady Diana's and Prince Charles' dispute, and it can't be as flawless as this perfect first season.

After the cut i've posted only some scenes that i loved best, but the show is so full of them i couldn't post them all. I hope you have enjoyed this season as much as i did because, it's been one of the shows of the year. And it's gonna receive a whole lot awards at the end of the year during the award season. But who will get more nominations and awards, Lange or Sarandon? This is not over, now it's time for these two to battle in real life.

Ryan Murphy's 'Feud' official trailer

The official trailer of 'Feud' is out and i'm just so excited about this new tv show by Ryan Murphy. I was already excited about the idea behind the show as i've watched 'What Ever Happened to Baby Jane' when i was a kid as my mom loved it and i'm ecstatic.

In case you don't know, or you haven't seen the iconic movie (which you really should ASAP), 'Feud' follows the infamous filming of the film Joan Crawford and Bette Davis did when both their careers had hit a rough patch after growing old in the industry and the rumors that came out of it were insane. Tidbits about their rivalry and on set shenanigans that they both did to each other made the movie, which is about two once famous rivals sisters, transfer the screen. The idea that Ryan Murphy is embarking in such an iconic project is priceless. Because it was the most talked about shooting ever and to film it with such amazing actresses like Lange and Sarandon, who are at the same high level of the original Hollywood actresses, is insane. The images from the show where they film scenes of the movie resemble so much the old film it's bananas. And the new released trailer looks like is going to be a hell of a trip. In top of that it has a hell of a cast with Alfred Molina, Stanley Tucci, Judy Davis, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Catherine Zeta Jones, Kiernan Shipka... because which actor would want to miss this?

'Feud' premieres on March 5, and i'm already anxious for it. Watch the trailer below and watch the classic film because this is something you don't wanna miss.

First look at 'Feud: Bete & Joan'

Yessss, more info and new photos have been released of Ryan Murphy's new series 'Feud: Bette and Joan' and the photoshoot by Entertainment Weekly is amazing.

Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange characterized as Bette Davis and Joan Crawford look amazing and there's a new teaser out and let's hope sometime soon a new trailer is released to get a more accurate taste of the glorious thing that we've got coming with this show. Their feud was legendary and the movie they filmed together, 'What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?', which is precisely when the show will take place, is an Old Hollywood classic everyone should watch before the series premieres.

And, it turns out, 'Feud' will follow the formula of some other Ryan Murphy shows like 'American Horror Story' or 'American Crime Story' and each season will focus on a different topic and, in this case, different infamous feuds, which is a brilliant thing to do. But first we'll get the most iconic and talked about feud of the Golden era of cinema.

'Feud: Bette and Joan' premieres on  Sunday, March 5, so we're getting it quite soon. 5 Shows to Look Forward on 2017

Not only we do have great movies coming ahead this year but some very interesting new shows. I don't need to recommend you to watch 'The Young Pope' anymore but you should really watch it. As for the rest, here are five shows to really give a try this 2017.

Twin Peaks - Obvi. 25 years later, it's happening again and i can't hardly wait. The cast of the show has been talking so good about the new material that i've got such high expectations that i hope it doesn't disappoint. The iconic David Lynch show is set to air sooner than expected as it's just been announced that it's gonna premiere on May 21 and will have 18 episodes *dead* Also, it's going to include some characters that i didn't expect, like Sherilynn Fenn, who played my fave character Audrey Horne, as she has tweeted about the revival so she's expected to appear, which i'm thrilled about. I seriously cannot wait for this, it's been described as "the pure heroin version of David Lynch" so i'm literally over the moon. 132 left to witness Lynch in pure glory.

Big Little Lies - This show looks like a new and more serious version of 'Desperate Housewives' and the cast alone is quite impressive: Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern, Alexander Skarsgard, Shailene Woodley, Zoe Kravitz... and for that alone it looks interesting enough for me. It premieres in 41 days (Feb. 20) so we won't have to wait long for it. Watch the trailer below.

Feud - Everything Ryan Murphy does, i'm interested in. I can't help it when he makes such great shows, from 'American Horror Story' to 'American Crime Story' and 'Scream Queens', and now he's making a show about the filming of the iconic 'What ever happened to Baby Jane?'. And if you have watched the film you should now how terribly bad the relationship between Golden Age Hollywood divas Bette Davis and Joan Crawford was, and how many stories were written about it so hence, the title of the show. Both stars will be played by Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon and other cast includes Kathy Bates, Judy Davis, Sarah Paulson, Alfred Molina, Stanley Tucci and Catherin Zeta Jones among many others so it's really a stellar cast for such an ambitious project. The show is going to have 8 episodes and expected to premiere on March 7 so we have a few good ones coming these next months.

Santa Clarita's Diet - I had no idea about this show since a few weeks ago and while the plot is a bit bizarre (click here for major details and spoilers), as it has Drew Barrymore starring on it, i'm sold. It looks like a fresh and twisted comedy and the complete first season (10 episodes) premieres on February 3, so again, we won't take long to see if it's worth it or not. Anything with Drew i nearly always like so i trust this one. At least it's going to be something different to see. Watch the teaser below.

On Becoming A God - A few days ago this tv show was announced and has already blown my mind. The controversial director Yorgos Lanthimos from 'Canino' and 'The Lobster' (i haven't watched this one yet) is developing this dark comedy series starring Kirsten Dunst with executive producers George Clooney, Dunst and Lanthimos themselves. It's still in early stages but i'm already waiting for it, as 'Canino' and 'Alps' are really weird and amazing movies, especially the first one. Plot details can be found here but i will be watching when it's out.

'Scream Queens' Season 2

(Spoilers, obvi)
So, the much awaited season 2 of 'Scream Queens' came and gone in the blink of an eye and while it hasn't reached the level of perfection that the first season was, it hasn't been bad at all.

First things first, season 2's first episode was amazing, letting us know what happened with the Chanels with a very on point docu-series of the Kappa murders with a 'Making a Murderer' docu style, the Chanels were found not guilty but disowned by their families and therefore, poor. And this season they had to make their way to the top again.

With season 2 taking place in a hospital the plot has been a bit if a disappointment compared to rumors of season 2 taking place in a Summer camp (that would had been awesome and there are rumors of that for season 3) and everything was not as bubbly, silly and so fitting for the Chanels as S1's sorority. And while the Green Meanie plot has been quite good in the last few eps with the reveal of Cassidy (Taylor Lautner) as the baby in the womb, and Kirstie Alley as nurse Hoffel and Grace's dad, Wes, looking for revenge, it's not been as hilarious as it used to be. Sure it had its great moments with characters like the fabulous Chanel-Pour-Homme (gone too soon just like Deaf Taylor Swift) or Chad Radwell's return (RIP), but i think the scene stealer has been again Hester aka Neckbrace (Lea Michele) with her delirious psycho mind. The Chanels have also been the best part of the season, as usual,  but sometimes they felt kinda like they didn't use their whole potential, but i would watch a show with these three no matter what. John Stamos and Taylor Lautner have also been great additions and having more random Chanels was fun too.

What i liked a lot about the plot is how they linked it to season 1 with nurse Hoffle being Mrs. Bean's sister, as noone saw that coming, and Wes returning looking to avenge his daughter Grace, who has gone bananas after the Kappa murders, and that gives us a clue for the Red Devil that appears right before the episode ends, that it could be Grace. That would be a really good plot for Season 3 as she's the only one who wants to kill the Chanels now and if it took place in another setting it would be better. The only bad thing is that the actress that plays Grace (Skyler Samuels) was so bland but maybe she's better playing a mean character.

Anyway, i'm mentally preparing myself for the cancellation of the show, because it doesn't look like it will be renewed but i really hope so. I think three seasons would be enough to wrap the show and i have faith in Ryan Murphy giving it life again as he has done with 'American Horror Story' this year. We won't know the fate of our Chanels until next year so in the meantime let's enjoy some of the best moments this irregular but not bad second season has had, as always, after the cut idiot hookers.

American Horror Story: Roanoke

What a ride this season of 'American Horror Story: Roanoke' has been, what a ride! I really didn't expect much from the show after bailing out on the previous season (as i posted, i recently watched 'Hotel' and it wasn't bad at all), so my expectations were kinda low but damn, i got surprised. And it might be one of the best AHS seasons to date so let's start from the beginning because there's a lot to discuss.

At first, i think everyone got really confused by those first minutes of the show. Like we saw one actor doing the action and another one narrating but when you got the whole thing it was interesting. I have to admit that the first half of the season, where we see the first season of the 'My Roanoke Nightmare' was ok, sure the tale of the events of Matt and Shelby got my attention but i was not that intrigued. But when the show took a turn and for the second season we saw the whole process of the production turning the second season into kind of a reality show mixing both actors of the reenactment and the real life survivors, that was amazing. Because the show turned into a mix of AHS' 'Murder House', 'UnReal' and 'The Blair Witch Project' and that mixture made everything so damn good and so intriguing this time. And also because we got to see more of the actors that were only narrating the whole thing doing some action, like Adina Porter, who was already amazing on 'True Blood' and it would had been a shame only to see her just telling the tale of Roanoke. And sure we got to see more of her, she kinda turned into the star of the show during that second half. As it was great to see the other actors who played Shelby, Matt and Lee of the docu-series appear as the actors themselves alongside the real people who they portrayed. Like a meta meta show. And we even got a crossover with the finale bringing back Lana Winters, the Briarcliff survivor from season 2's 'Asylum' and i love when director Ryan Murphy gives us that. Because in the end Sarah Paulson played Shelby on the show, then she played actress Audrey Tindall and finally iconic journalist Lana Winters and that was superb. Because Murphy always integrates elements from other seasons to make it more full circle and that's so amazing.

As for the finale, i've seen that many people are complaining not only that the season has been a mess - which i really don't understand, and others that have liked the season but haven't quite loved the ending. I have to admit that maybe the resolution of the Lee Harris' plot and her daughter was kind of weak but i actually liked the whole thing and the introduction of the media into the story only made it more real and believable, in this time and age where docu-realities are so hot right now. In my opinion, it has been one of the best seasons, or at least better than 'Freak Show' and especially 'Hotel', so that's a lot.

 I was kinda wondering before 'Hotel' that the show was pretty much done but after this brilliant season, and how Murphy keeps blending seasons and characters, i think the best is yet to come, especially with a crossover season of 'Murder House' and 'Coven' that seems to be happening next season or most likely, in season 8 and i can't wait for that. In the meantime, Ryan Murphy has teased us with this tweet saying "Sweet dreams. The monsters are all gone," which is sure a hint of season 7 but i guess we'll have to wait until the theme it's revealed in Spring but this will keep us wondering.

American Horror Story: Hotel

(Spoilers, obvs)
I know i'm a year late but i finally have watched 'American Horror Story: Hotel' and i have to admit i liked it better than what i expected. The problem was that i felt outraged by the casting of Lady Gaga, supposedly taking the place of Jessica Lange after leaving the show for good, and that still makes no sense.

Anyway, this season might be the saddest, darkest one yet, or at least that's what it made me difficult to watch it sometimes because i didn't want to watch something that lugubrious. And that's the main theme, souls trapped in a hotel full or murder and hate years after years, for eternity. 'Hotel' is like a mixture of 'The Shinning' and 'Seven' and sometimes it looks like a cheap version of the Kubrick's masterpiece but i guess that was kinda the idea to make it all look a lot more sordid. And while at first the plot is not that interesting, slowly you get into things and into the sadness and despair of all of the characters.

'Hotel' is marked by many sad stories, from John Lowe's (Wes Bentley) dramatically losing his son in a fair, and therefore his head after that, to Sally's (Sarah Paulson) addiction to love when everyone always leaves her, the pain of a mother who's son doesn't appreciate her one bit (Kathy Bates), or the remorse of Liz Taylor  (Denis O'Hare) as a father who abandoned his son because it was "complicated", everything cuts deep and ghosts and so not ghosts are living a life (or eternity) in sorrow. The story of the Countess (Lady Gaga) might be the one that didn't get me as much, mainly because it wasn't that relatable and because of her poor acting, but in the end it got interesting as well.

Another thing that i actually liked a lot was the homage that director Ryan Murphy did with some of the most notorious serial killers with the Halloween night episodes, and the stellar portrayal of Lily Rabe as Aileen Wuornos (Charlize Theron won the Oscar after playing her in 'Monster'); i also liked Evan Peter's playing the excentric James March and how crazy his character was, but the Halloween dinner night with all these murderers was a killer thing to see.

Also, the crossovers with other seasons is something that i didn't expect, with Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe) making an appearance at the hotel after 'Coven' and Billie Dean Howard (Sarah Paulson) the medium from 'Murder House' appearing too, this one especially being quite great when it comes to the plot.

I also quite loved Liz Taylor's storyline from the beginning, from his romance with Tristan (Finn Wittrock) finally finding love, to him reconnecting with his son and how he accepted him, that was really sweet. Liz's death, after finding out that he had cancer, wanting to remain at the hotel with her "family" was also super sweet, in a morbid kind of way, but something that made me happy for him. And Sally also finding happiness through social media, connecting with people through the internet and not feeling as alone, was somethig hilarious, but sadly true in a way.

That's one thing i like about 'American Horror Story' that i just noticed while watching this season, is that more or less, everyone always gets a happy ending. It might not be perfect but at least the characters find some sort of peace, and even in 'Scream Queens' with the Chanels living in the asylum happily ever after at the end of season 1, found that sort of calm and peace as well.

Overall, even though the first episodes took me a lot to watch them, i actually ended liking this season much more that i thought, even though i think it might be the show's least good season but not as bad as i expected.

'Scream Queens' season 2 teaser trailer

"Good morning, sluts," 'Scream Queens' is back next month and we already have a taste of what's coming. While i'm super excited about it and i loved the perfect first season, i'm always afraid that it won't live up to season 2. Of course, i will be watching and i'm eager too but i just don't want to have my expectations too high because i adore the humor and frivolity the show has, it's totally my cup of tea. So, i'm not going to expect much and hope that it surprises me as it did with the first season.

Our Chanels are back in September 20th and in the meantime we have this really cool teaser to keep going and a few really great and amazing cast photos after the cut because you can tell these people are having fun working together. Scream Queens' season 1

The 'Scream Queens' finale was something i really didn't expect, even though i've been loving this show ever since started, i did not see it coming when it came to the final episode and it was... AMAZING. I really cannot describe what an adrenaline rush i had during the two final episodes and how intrigued i was about who the Red Devil was and while some might have seen that coming, it turned out to be perfection.

You have to understand that this show was made for me, it has everything i love in a show and the cast is more than flawless, so this was an easy one for me. But while i liked some of Ryan Murphy's work a lot like the first three seasons of 'American Horror Story' (yeah, that includes 'Coven'), 'Scream Queens' has excelled all my expectations for a show. Some say it's dumb and silly but that's underestimating it. Of course it plays dumb, but the show is the first one who mocks teenage girls, sororities and Taylor Swift mainly, so you have to get its sometimes acid humour. The show is basically laughing at itself, and i loved that about it.

One of the key elements from the huge success of the series is the cast. Absolutely everyone is on point and nails their characters, well maybe Grace was the weakest one but as the supposedly main character, i think that's done in purpose. But the cast, starting with the fantastic Emma Roberts and the incredible Jamie Lee Curtis, is flawless:

 Emma Roberts is more Emma Roberts than ever, Ryan Murphy already exploited that in 'Coven' and it was great but here she shines more than ever. She owns the show and i cannot adore her anymore. And what can i tell about Jamie Lee Curtis? This woman is flawless, there's something about her that makes her effortlessly cool and she simply makes her character her own and you just love to hate her. But not only we're marvelled by these two leading ladies, we've also fallen in love with Billie Lourd as Chanel #3 who was the total revelation of the show, Nick Jonas as gay Boone surprised me for his comedy skills and he has to be in the following season, Niecy Nash as Dennise fucking Hemphill was absurdily hilarious; Lea Michele as Neckbrace was another surprise for me because i have never seen her in 'Glee' and she's amazing, and even Ariana Grande in her small role was great. And there's also a bunch of other characters like Death Taylor Swift (she was gone too soon), the candle blogger, Diego Boneta doing a flawless impersonation of Matthew McConaughey in 'True Detective', Tavi Gevinson guest starring, Chad Radwell and his family, everyone.  I couldn't ask for a better show. And while the Red Devil reveal made all the sense in the world for me, let's discuss everything that happened between 'Dorkus' and 'The Final Girl(s)'.

The Red Devil reveal was so on point, i always fear Ryan Murphy's plot twists because by the time any season of AHS gets to the end it's a big old mess with tons of plots and things to get solved, but here there was no loose end (well, maybe that very last shot). I loved how throughout all the 'Dorkus' ep, we believed that #5 was the Red Devil, and only at the very last moment it was revealed that it was in fact Hester, so we could see her story in the final episode. How she managed to trick them all, to blame the Chanels and get away with it was brilliant, and her conversation with Dean Munch subtly convincing her into not telling anything was superb. Because Dean Much knew it all, and that's a really big reveal because she didn't care for the Chanels to get sentenced when they were innocent of it all. And while it was quite funny to see Denise and Chad breaking up while 'Waterfalls' sounds, the best minutes of the finale (despite everything before being perfection) where the last ten minutes of the show:

The Chanels are sentenced to life in prison (despite being declared at first innocent but found guilty because of Chanel's big mouth –and despite her ignoring the verdict) and are sent to an asylum (AHS Asylum anyone?). The biggest surprise? They loved it and probably needed it, and we've never seen them so happy or closer as friends. It was a nice twist of events because i don't think anyone expected them to end like this and while Chanel achieves happiness there, the Red Devil cannot allow that and presumably kills her. But for a moment, it was beautiful.

This was a big finale for a show that is bigger than what everyone thinks at first, it might be bubbly and silly and have a lot of furry clothes and pastel colours, but entertains till the very end, it has thousand of pop culture references from classic movies to new ones or famous people, you laugh through all of it and don't end up disappointed and that's not easy to achieve. I'm gonna miss Chanel Oberlin and #3 a lot, and i hope the rumours of a possible season 2 set in a Summer camp will be true, because now i can't let go of this show.

'Scream Queens' trailer

This looks so good i can't even. The 'Scream Queens' trailer is out and it looks bananas. Set in a sorority and with the ultimate scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis, the show is filled with celebs and young actors like Abigail Breslin, Lea Michele, Diego Boneta, Keke Palmer, Nick Jonas or Ariana Grande, but the real star of the series, besides Mrs. Curtis, it's gonna be Emma Roberts.

I can't even explain how much i adore Emma Roberts, ever since 'Wild Child' where she was already playing this bitchy character she does so great, and in 'American Horror Story: Coven' she became a queen. Many will say she doesn't have a range and can only play these type of characters, but they should watch 'Palo Alto' to speak properly about her acting. But, enough with my love for her, the show looks like my perfect cup of tea for a guilty pleasure, and as i'm done with 'American Horror Story' because Jessica Lange is out and Lady Gaga is in (WTF), i can't wait to watch this hot mess:

Scream Queens coming this Fall

Ryan Murphy announced sometime ago a brand new show titled 'Scream Queens', starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Emma Roberts, coming this Fall. Despite those two flawless ladies, i wasn't too excited about it but this new teaser with Emma Roberts is so cool i might quit watching 'American Horror Story' to watch this show instead  (mainly because of Lady Gaga).

The horror-comedy anthology will also star Abigail Breslin, Lea Michele, Oliver Hudson, Nick Jonas, Keke Palmer, Diego Boneta, Glenn Powell, Lucien Laviscount, Skyler Samuels and Nasim Pedrad and is set in a sorority house and revolves around a college campus rocket by a series of murders, so this sounds like a guilty pleasure to me.

American Horror Story: Freak Show

This season of 'American Horror Story: Freak Show' started like a really huge mess, the first episodes where really bad in my opinion and i almost quit watching the show but... the Halloween eps really made a difference. Wes Bentley's haunted character and the curse of never performing on Halloween was really a great turn for the season, and it all started getting better after that. Ryan Murphy wasn't joking when he said that this season was going to be the bloodiest one, and sure was. The most violent murders and cruelest scenes happened during this season, and all that evoked mixed emotions of not watching and loving to watch at the same time.

It had nearly all the Coven cast back: Jessica Lange (Freak Show being the last AHS she's going to be in), Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Frances Conroy, Emma Roberts, Gabourey Sidibe, Evan Peters, Jamie Brewer... among many others and it had the super nice and lovely addition of Jyoti Amge (Ma Petite) that melted everyone's hearts.

As it hasn't been a bad season at all, even though it might be the less good out of the other three seasons, i'm posting below some of the best music scenes the season had. Who could forget Jessica Lange covering Lana del Rey's 'Gods and Monsters' that fitted so perfectly in the circus of freaks, just like Evan Peters' singing 'Come As You Are'. But the most memorable performance has to be Miss Elsa's 'Life on Mars', of course, some might be bored of her singing that song by the end of the season, but it was always a really touching moment when a star like Elsa wants to hit stardom and she doesn't. And who could forget that heartbreaking performance when she was booed by the audience, it was devastating.

Behold our next Supreme - American Horror Story Coven finale

(Spoilers ahead, witches)

There was much anticipation coming with the third season of 'American Horror Story Coven', with such a marvellous female cast, Jessica Lange, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe, Frances Conroy, Jamie Brewer and Emma Roberts, and for me, it didn't disappoint.

Sure it wasn't as creepy and scary as the previous two seasons, even though it had a nice start with some morbid scenes like the gang raping scene, the incestuous relationship between Kyle and his mother, Delphine's crimes, Spalding's doll fetish or Queenie's semi-zoophilic sexual encounter, but this season has mostly been enjoyable in a hilarious way, like a super guilty pleasure. Everything has been more absurd, more over the edge, and maybe people didn't like it as much because they expected something else. Personally, i've really loved it, sure it could have been better with such a good story and  an excellent ensemble, but i've enjoyed everything as i didn't take it too seriously, as i think it was intended.

The finale was good, i didn't expect Cordelia to be the Supreme and it made sense that Fiona hated her daughter all these years because of that, and that final scene between the two of them was really memorable. Sure, this show follows some similar patterns, like Jessica Lange's character dying of cancer in the previous season as well, Misty ended up turning into ashes just like sister Mary Eunice in Asylum, or Cordelia pulling a Lana Banana by giving a TV interview revealing all in both seasons. In all three seasons, the show has started really good, it got interesting until it became a complete mess that ended up with some loose ends. But i was happy with the ending and really loved this season. So i'm posting some of my very fave moments from the show after the cut, sure there are many and i'm missing some, but one has to admit that Emma Roberts was nearly the best thing of this season because let's be honest, the Zoe-Kyle thing was simply boring, and Gabourey Sidibe was also really good, so enjoy the witch bitches and wear something black (NSFW):
