Because there's no such thing as a bad The National song: Top 10 favourite tracks.


Stereogum has made a post with The National's 10 Best Songs and while some are among my favourites, i couldn't help but to make my very own list of The National songs. Because this band has become one of my favourites and their music is simply something else, that husky, deep voice, the beautiful music, the touching lyrics, everything takes you somewhere within yourself and that ain't easy. There's no 'Bloodbuzz Ohio', no 'Karen' or any obvious favourites, and some really new ones, unexpectedly lots of 'High Violet' songs, but i'm sure everyone loves anything from this band so check out the list and tell me your favourites, because there's no such thing as a bad The National song:

    Moltes gràcies per enllaçar al meu post, dear! I que puc dir-te de The National que no t'haja dit ja... m'encanten, si fins el meu blog es diu Daughter of the SoHo riots per ells, per la seua cançó d'Alligator. I estic d'acord, si és que són genials. La primera vegada que ells vaig escoltar a 2005 o 2006, vaig dir bé, no està mal... que els vaig descobrir a Radio 1 de la BBC per no recordo qui, altre músic, que els va recomanar fent un podcast. Però quan vaig anar posant-me els dics que tenien, els primers, poc a poc em vaig anar enamorant de les lletres i de la veu de Matt, i ja és que em passa com a tu, totes m'agraden, siga més o menys haha

    Molt difícil fer el top 10, ja he vist les de Stereogum també. No vaig a posar noves, encara que les dos que tu has posat són les que més m'han agradat també, perquè encara no les tinc tant escoltades per ser faves, però aquest seria el meu top, pensant en les cançons que més m'emocionen d'ells i que més he escoltat:
