Daisy Trio by Marc Jacobs

You know i love anything Sofia Coppola and anything 'The Virgin Suicides'. So when Sofia directed the tv ad of Daisy by Marc Jacobs, i loved it, and now that she's at it again – this time Daisy Trio by Marc Jacobs– i love it too.

This time it really goes Lisbon sisters and features more than just one girl, wandering through the fields and dreaming about love while CHVRCHES' music plays. Enjoy Sofia Coppola's dreamy world with the ad below:

Marc Jacocs goes The Virgin Suicides

After directing Daisy for her good friend Marc Jacobs, Sofia Coppola is back into business with her designer friend for the campaign of Daisy Dream and if the previous ad evoked some 'The Virgin Suicides' feels, this new one is totally an homage to her own debut movie.

In one of the most iconic scenes of the movie, the boys obsessed with the Lisbon sisters try to imagine the secret world of the girls while reading Cecilia's diary, Air is sounding and everything is dreamy, and that's kinda what Coppola tried to do with this new ad. Daisy Dream is not as enchanting or ethereal as the movie, but it's lovely too and sells the product well. So below you can watch the new and 'The Virgin Suicides' scene for comparison, and i couldn't help but to post after the cut a few stills of that scene, i love the dreamy, free-spirited mood so enjoy the magic and enigmatic world of the Lisbon girls after the cut.

Marc Jacobs' Daisy by Sofia Coppola

Marc Jacobs has released a new ad campaign for his perfume Daisy, and watching the advert, i think everyone can guess that it's directed by Jacobs' longtime friend and muse, Sofia Coppola. This ad is so 'The Virgin Suicides' like, it reminded me of that scene where the boys are daydreaming about the girls laying on the grass, with Lux jumping around while Cecilia writes on her diary, it's simply visually gorgeous and so Sofia-esque that i love it.

This time we have model Ondria Hardin walking through a green field in a summery ad that really captures a fresh and delicate mood and makes it delicious for a perfume ad, Sofia Coppola is mastering the art of perfume adverts, right? After Miss Dior Chérie now comes Daisy by Marc Jacobs, and we aren't complaining. Enjoy the beauty:
