The beautiful thing to wake up on a Sunday morning with new music by My Bloody Valentine. It's been 22 years since they released 'Loveless' or that flawless album made in the 90s, and their new stuff didn't disappoint, infact, their website crashed almost immediately after launching the news of the new album.
So far we can listen to the full album on their Twitter account, and i'm already in love with the opening track 'She Found Now', it's classic My Bloody Valentine sound and it immediately transports you to their world of messy guitars and fading vocals, but could it be better than 'Loveless'? Frontman Kevin Shields said about it:
"I think with this record, people who like us will immediately connect with something. Based on the very, very few people who've heard stuff – some engineers, the band, and that's about it – some people think it's stranger than 'Loveless'. I don't. I feel like it really frees us up, and in the bigger picture it's 100 per cent necessary."
Either way, it's finally great to listen to new stuff from them, so treat your ears because, we've been expecting this:
