'The Beguiled' by Sofia Coppola

After dropping out from the production of 'The Little Mermaid' over creative differences, little was known about Coppola's upcoming project, only that Kirsten Dunst confirmed she was going to be a part of it. Well, now news have surfaced that she'll direct the remake of Clint Eastwood's 1971 drama 'The Beguiled'. Here's the plot:

It follows the story of an injured Confederate soldier (originally played by Clint Eastwood) who finds refuge at an all-girls boarding school during the Civil War and conned his way into several lonely women's hearts.

The plot sounds good and as i haven't seen the original movie, and even though i'm not keen on remakes, i think it's gonna turn out great. Also, and most importantly, this will be the third movie in which Sofia directs Kirsten Dunst after 'The Virgin Suicides' and 'Marie Antoinette' and another reunion is happening with Elle Fanning as she was in Coppola's 'Somewhere'. And last but not least, Nicole Kidman is also attached to appear on the movie, so it's a hat-trick of actresses that can't be missed.

I don't know if i'm gonna watch the Clint Eastwood movie to know what's coming ahead but i'll keep posting about this film because, even though i liked but i didn't really love 'The Bling Ring' and 'Somewhere' didn't tell me much, i still have hopes with Sofia.
