MET Gala 2016: Manus x Machina - Fashion in a Age of Technology

Finally, here's the post about the MET Gala 2016 looks. I know this is old news by internet standards but i had to do it no matter what, i've done it in 201220132014 and 2015 so this year couldn't be a miss.

So, this year's theme was very 'Ex-Mchina'-esque, "Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology' and this was quite a theme to amaze but some, as always, decided to put on the hell they wanted no matter what, when they could all have done sooo much better. But some have stick to the theme and have been more than amazing so here are my favourite looks from the MET Ball 2016 alongside others that haven't been so on point but are worth to criticise. Check them all after the cut!

Obvioulsy, this year's dress of the MET Gala has been the fantastic Zac Posen gown Claire Danes wore and it was mesemerizing (as well as electric). She was the absolute winner of the night.

Another one that was electric that night was Karolina Kurkova in this very beautiful Marchesa while Jenna Lyons, Jennifer Konner and Lena Dunham looked incredibly gorgeous in man suits, not at all sticking to the theme but hell they looked good in J.Crew.

Gigi Hadid was stunning in Tommy Hilfiger and very theme adequate, one of my fave looks from the night, while Beyonce's Givenchy was also superb and looked fine.

Nicole Kidman was a queen in this Alexander McQueen dress, she was glowing.

Emma Roberts looked super pretty in this beautiful dress by Tory Burch though she didn't care much about the theme.

Naomi Campbell looked like a modern Cleopatra in Roberto Cavalli while Emily Ratajkowski was gorgeous in Prabal Gurung but not theme appropiate.

Saorise Ronan wore this Christopher Kane dress that was exquisite but again didn't care about the theme.

Zoe Kravitz took things a bit too far with this Valentino look though she was cute and while Lupita Nyong'o's Calvin Klein dress was super, her hairdo not so much.

The Olsens were nice in The Row and i actually liked a lot Ashley's vintage jacket, while the Haim sisters would look good individually in their Rodarte dresses but all together look like a hot curtain mess.

Lorde looked very sweet in this cute Valentino gown while Kendall Jenner was gorgeous in Tommy Hilfiger

FKA Twigs was one of the best looks of the night with this Atelier Versace dress while Emma Watson  was nice in Calvin Klein

Jourdan Dunn took the theme very seriously with this Balmain dress and slayed while Fei Fei Sun looked delicious in Chanel

And  Sarah Jessica Parker was a bit of a let down in Monse though she looked good.
