The Neon Demon

 Nicholas Winding Refn fascinated me, and to many others, with 'Drive' and while many were horrified by his next movie 'Only God Forgives', i thought it was a fucking modern masterpiece and can't wait to see more of him. I should really watch his early work but i'm really looking forward to see his upcoming project 'The Neon Demon', starring Elle Fanning as you can see in the bloody still above, this is the plot:

"An aspiring model who moves to Los Angeles where her youth and vitality are devoured by a group of beauty-obsessed women who will go to any lengths to get what she has."

Sounds good, doesnt' it? Elle Fanning will star as the young model while other cast includes Keanu Reeves, Christina Hendricks, Jena Malone, Abbey Lee and Bella Heathcote (no Ryan Gosling this time). Refn has described the movie as "an horror film about vicious beauty" so this looks really promising. It's set to premiere on Summer 2016 and has already started production so in the meantime let's enjoy these promotional images of the very own director with my adored Elle Fanning and the poster of the movie below.
