'Little Women' (1994).

If there was one movie this year that i really wanted to watch from my Top 10 movies to watch during Christmas it's 'Little Women', the Winona version. I know there's a previous one with Elizabeth Taylor that might have a lot of charm as well, but i grew up watching this newest version so it's really dear to me.

The story of the March family is simply a treat to watch during these boring festive days, where Christmas is so present in the movie, perfect to watch one cold afternoon and to have a good cry and smile as well, such a lovely set of characters. Of course i will never ever understand why Jo ends up with the boring teacher and not with the so lovable Laurie, but i always enjoy watching this film. It's been a while since i've read the book and i have to sometime soon but in the meantime, i've posted some of my fave stills from the movie after the cut, because it's shot so beautifully and everything looks so pretty that the images feel like home. Image heavy ahead.
